Speaker 3: It's fascinating how virtue signaling can stay in style so long [00:02:00] and then all of a sudden it's like, oh crap. Fall through. Oh crap.

KYLE: Someone starts believing it, your crow. Start believing it and start calling. No,

Speaker 3: no. The people just start. People that have a. [00:02:10] That are listening to it. Finally think, Hey, if these people actually are, if they're being genuine, then this is what this means.

Speaker 3: Give it back. Give her back. Totally makes sense. So it's whatever. Yeah, that's right. What's [00:02:20] What is justice, right? What is justice? Yeah. What is reconciliation?

KYLE: I think that's what Jesus, it's a big

KYLE: I think that's how Jesus taught. Turn the other cheek. 'cause otherwise you have [00:02:30] what the Palestinians and Israelis have.

KYLE: They're just fighting for. 2000 years, like at some point, like you have to forgive, otherwise the fight, you have to let go.

Speaker 3: You have to be willing to be treated unfairly [00:02:40] and to have iJust, all of us do. Yeah. In our personal life and probably as a society, which is quite, quite challenging. Yeah.

KYLE: Which is not to say that it's right, [00:02:50] like it probably wasn't right how they took the country 300 years ago.

KYLE: I, I don't even know the

GARY: history that well. I, I probably not, I'm not qualified to comment in any way, just like I'm not qualified [00:03:00] to comment on most things.

KYLE: Fair enough. But I mean like, I mean big parts of like the US were conquered too. Like you gonna take it back now? 'cause they had it first. [00:03:10] It doesn't work that way.

KYLE: Anyway. We got a comment about it from Tara. Oh yeah. M 42 64 on YouTube. And she says, I quote, you're right about. [00:03:20] The can of worms. If we do Atlantic acknowledgements, we have to give the land back or we're lying and pandering. Then if we give the land back, indigenous peoples must have not have [00:03:30] all the benefits that were under the original treaties for giving up the land in the first place to the European Settlers Free Healthcare University tax exemptions and so on.

KYLE: Let's all be treated equally. [00:03:40] End of quote. Yeah.

Speaker 3: Or yeah. End of quote. Um, I dunno. In our house we have a saying. Okay. Life's not fair. Get used to it. Okay, so we got some questions, but [00:03:50] that's a secondary issue from this. It's like you can st people can still, we can still acknowledge hurt and we can acknowledge on doing it.

Speaker 3: That's right. That's right. They're two totally separate. It's not black and white. It's not black and white. No.

KYLE: Hey. Okay, [00:04:00] so one more part. I've had various opinions on the First Nations topic can be CI was curious about your thoughts on the history of the First Nations. The recent couching, court ruling made me think of it again.

KYLE: How would you recommend the [00:04:10] government work? With the First Nations, ignore the entire debacle and call it history. Would you simple simply recommend an apology for the history? Would you give the land back? Why or why not? [00:04:20]

Speaker 3: How would I deal with it? Yeah, I'd write a check to every single person. To every single First Nations person and, and reserves and, and any sort, [00:04:30] any sort of land ownership like that.

Speaker 3: If you talk, this has been my experience. 'cause I have friends that are First Nations and then get rid of

KYLE: the Indian Act.

Speaker 3: Yeah. Like level, level, level, level, level. [00:04:40] Like, its not, it's not, and I'm oversimplifying 'cause obviously like it's not. Um, but free healthcare is not free. Yeah. Like term of free, something is not free.

Speaker 3: [00:04:50] Um, even that is. Really hurtful. Like it's really, it's like you, you can't pay for a wrongdoing by giving somebody something. You couldn't beat your child forever and [00:05:00] then say, Hey, but you know what, I'm gonna pay for you to go to the best university. Exactly. Now it's even like, that's not how the world works.

Speaker 3: Yeah. Um, so that just. It makes me crazy.

KYLE: But you say, but you do say you're just gonna give them money. [00:05:10] Well, 'cause

Speaker 3: you would have to, like, you would have to get everybody on side. So you would pick some absorbent number that everybody would agree to, and people would say, well, it's not about money. Well it's, it's not about money.

Speaker 3: Then how come we're taking things of value and then [00:05:20] reselling them back to Exactly. To white people for developments like it. Of course it's about money. Like, that's right. So call a spade a spade and, uh, those are unpopular opinions. Right? Those are things that people [00:05:30] think quietly and don't have the, the guts to say.

Speaker 3: Right. So

Speaker 3: right. I think the idea of, hey.

KYLE: Which then also means all this land that the farmers are, that some farmers, I guess are shelling back to the [00:05:40] bands that would all just fall. That would stop. That stop. It would just be normal. Like it's just like, Hey, all land. It's either

Speaker 3: in the R or it's not.

Speaker 3: It's like, no, we don't have some weird side deal where it's like, Hey, we can take chunks and turn them [00:05:50] 10 times the money. But

KYLE: because I was thinking about this week more like, what do I actually think about it? What's my opinion? Because I know we were big going at each other on Saturday and Marie dropped the bomb, which is hilarious.

KYLE: I'll let you share it if you [00:06:00] want. But, um, like I don't want a whole bunch of developments popping up in the middle of a chillax farmland. Like that kind of sucks, like as a resident, I'd rather just leave it farmland [00:06:10] and

Speaker 3: yeah. Do you think houses should be built on hillsides then? Or where should the new houses be built?

Speaker 3: There's nowhere left to build houses, hillsides or

KYLE: go up.

Speaker 3: [00:06:20] Go up. Okay. City, cities. Cities, vertical densification, which does happen, but densification only happens outta necessity. [00:06:30] And there again, it's about economics, right? Like it just has to make sense financially to go up high enough. And it's interesting 'cause in Chillowak, we don't have Highrises.

Speaker 3: There's one that was built Abbotsford, I think it's the only one.

KYLE: So do they not have an A LR [00:06:40] in Alberta?

Speaker 3: No, they would have, they would have, you know, each municipal, uh, there again, there's lots of Alberta listeners. Yeah. But like the city of Calgary just keeps expanding. The city of Lethbridge just keeps going, going.

Speaker 3: [00:06:50] Every chunk of every quarter of farmland, sec quarter section around the city is obviously worth whatever the premium is for the person. And as cities growing over time, the farther out you are. [00:07:00] Over time, they would gain value based on the city, city. How different be,

KYLE: if there was no farm line, it was just all one big sprawling, let's

Speaker 3: go to California.

Speaker 3: That's exactly what it is, right? It's, I've had developers tell me that like, you know [00:07:10] what? Let's just keep buying our food from California and let's just fill this, suck this valley up. How is a nice spot in all of Canada? Why would we not all wanna live in this valley? Why do we need to grow Brussels sprouts and corn silage?

KYLE: Yeah. That's everybody looking at, that's the other way

Speaker 3: of looking at it.

KYLE: Yeah.

Speaker 3: And can you fight progress? Like I don't think you can. I think we all want to, but I think the idea of. You know, protecting [00:07:30] something you can do for a season of time and eventually you look back and things change. That's right.

Speaker 3: Times change. Maybe we can all of a sudden grow food in a, in a way, denser in a denser way, right. In a, you [00:07:40] know, vertical. There is, like, there's friends of mine that are, are creating systems where they're growing in sea cans and they're growing in, you know, basically in cities, right?

KYLE: Yeah. It's like growing fish.

Speaker 3: Yeah. Same idea. [00:07:50] Very, very, uh, intensive agriculture, right? So, yeah. Yeah. Um, the couch and valley ruling is. I mean, I wa I don't watch a lot of clips of politicians 'cause I find it nauseating no matter [00:08:00] what side of the political spectrum they're on. 'cause politicians are full of crap. But like it was fascinating watching all of them, the Davey Eby, David Eby, who's our premier in bc and watching the [00:08:10] clip of his face when he was talking to reporters.

Speaker 3: It was just like, it was like he had that moment where it was like all we've kind of talked about for months now, it's like at some point this is gonna come to a head where [00:08:20] the party that's been kind of supporting all of the. Virtue signaling is gonna be like, oh shoot, this went too far. And some of the other things he said, I don't, I'm, but now the

KYLE: conservatives are still falling apart, so they still can't keep it together.

KYLE: Yeah. They're,

Speaker 3: they're, [00:08:30] they got their own set of problems. There's, now there's this a fracture in the right, which is just insane.

KYLE: Yeah. Local bc right?

Speaker 3: Yeah. You're wondering, yeah. If you wonder

KYLE: also, also, also on the right, in the US [00:08:40] there's a huge amount of young Republican males that are like very against the support of Israel.

KYLE: And the money that a government, uh, of the United States puts into Israel and [00:08:50] stuff like that when like they can't find jobs and like the cost of living is extremely high and et cetera. Else like that. And then the other side is like just all in Israel, like Ben Shapiro. Would those be

Speaker 3: the people that are somehow [00:09:00] pro, would they be pro-Russian as well?

Speaker 3: No, there seems to be a segment of people that are pro-Russia. Yeah, that too. Yeah. This is different. Why, why are people pro Russia?

KYLE: I'm not sure. We'll, we'll get to that. [00:09:10] Okay. Sorry. I'll talk about that. Okay. But yeah, so it's two, two segments. So like Tucker Carlson and um, like breaking points and some other big, like are [00:09:20] pushing back against this.

KYLE: But there's a huge influence from the Jewish state, not the people, the state into the American like. Ecosystem you could say. [00:09:30] And so that's always like, we've just given them like everything, right? Like there's so much like stuff when it comes to money. Uh,

Speaker 5: does the US send a lot of money to Israel? Yeah,

KYLE: tons of money.

KYLE: Tons [00:09:40] of like weapons. Um, you know, and so anyway, so they're fighting with each other, but it's like, it's like a, they're pretty big opposing factions that were all pro-Trump, [00:09:50] uh, like 80 months ago, whatever. And now I'm curious where Trump's how Trump's gonna handle it. But

Speaker 3: are they gonna start a new political party?

KYLE: I don't dunno. I [00:10:00] don't think it's that big yet, but it's gonna like,

Speaker 3: yeah, it was interesting. Um, in BC there's the party, it's called one BC if I'm not mistaken. Right, okay. Which would be the, you know, [00:10:10] for lack of that break off of the conservative, that's the break off, right? Yeah. One BC I did that. Yeah. I think there's three mps that are a part of it.

Speaker 3: And, um, you know, of course people that are in the conservative BC party would [00:10:20] the, the, the, the tent was fragile already when it was the BC liberals now it was. A misnomer. Misnomer as a BC liberals. Yeah. 'cause it was basically a, a right-leaning party for sure. Yeah. [00:10:30] Especially compared to the NDP and the greens.

Speaker 3: But, um, now in BC I mean we, we have a very left-leaning province and it's fascinating that I guess, [00:10:40] you know, you can say, Hey, you gotta be principled, but like. It's gonna be pretty difficult if there's fighting on the right for any sort of fiscally responsible party to ever get elected. Right? Yeah. I mean, it was closed this [00:10:50] last round.

Speaker 3: Yeah. Um, and I, I would say that I think you need,

KYLE: the only way you could really make it work is if you build a party. It says, okay, we are gonna agree on these four core issues. Like, [00:11:00] basically, like really narrow it and say, that's where we're gonna run. Everything else

Speaker 3: is free reign.

KYLE: And if you're, and then you're an individual mp.

KYLE: You could have your own beliefs.

Speaker 3: So John Rustad would say that's what he [00:11:10] was, that's what he did. Okay. That that is actually what, how he got so much support. Okay. From all, all sides in the conservative spectrum. Okay. Because it was kinda like you could have whatever views you [00:11:20] wanted on gender pretty much, or

KYLE: Okay.

Speaker 3: Any of those rights. It's like, hey, we're not gonna take a social conservative view per se, even though a lot of the people obviously would have those stance. Um, so what happened? Well [00:11:30] then afterwards, all of a sudden people, it, it really, and this is now we going back first you got power and. No. 'cause he never did get power.

Speaker 3: I mean, he was the leader. Fair enough. He, he basically, and it [00:11:40] was a specific issue about on, uh, truth and Reconciliation Day. One of the, um, mps, I think it was Dallas Brody, but it might have been Tara, whatever her name is Armstrong, I [00:11:50] think. Or there's one other guy. Okay. Drawing a blank on his name. He's the other mp, uh, from the Peace Region.

Speaker 3: Someone asked me yesterday if I knew who

KYLE: Dallas, where he was. I didn't even know who he was. No, he's one of the

Speaker 3: mps. She, she is the [00:12:00] leader. I think she is the leader. Yeah's gendered her. Miss, well, she would be the most offended by that. So, um, but the, she would be

KYLE: the most offended. Well, yeah. Oh, that's why she left.

KYLE: 'cause there wasn't

Speaker 3: no, [00:12:10] that's not why she left in my understanding. And I could be butchering this 'cause I don't, I haven't got really into the weeds. I find it really disappointing. But she basically posted about where the bodies right. This was on [00:12:20] Truth and Reconciliation Day. Oh. And her and a few other people have been extremely outspoken.

Speaker 3: And to be fair, I don't think there was bodies found in kabobs. That's right. There wasn't. So

KYLE: they're asking where the bodies, 'cause they're actually [00:12:30] seriously wanting to see where the bodies found. No, they're just

Speaker 3: saying, Hey, let's get some truth in, in alongside the reconciliation. Okay. And, and, and Russ dad.

Speaker 3: Actually, I think it was a staffer as well. It's [00:12:40] recently, staffer said this, sorry, Dallas Brody goes back a bit further. I think it was back in the summer already or before that, but now a staffer I saw there was a video and she got canned instantly for, for saying [00:12:50] that publicly. Right. Okay. Um, and so, so that's not allowed.

Speaker 3: So that's the push that, that, that's the blowback where, hey, this was gonna be a big tent, we were gonna allow it to be, you know, pretty vocal about how we feel. No, we're just [00:13:00] like every other political party. You know, you gotta toe the party line. Don't say anything that the opposition or the other party could use.

Speaker 3: Never gonna, I mean, this is why I struggle with our [00:13:10] political system because it's like the beauty of our society and the beauty of our culture. It should be, the beauty of our churches should be that we can have some challenging opinions for each other and, and not [00:13:20] completely write each other off. Right.

Speaker 3: And be

KYLE: individuals. Yeah. I mean that like Mark Stroll would've come on my podcast, like he won't just talk publicly. I'm like, who do you represent? Me, these are a federal mp. Yeah. For anyone listening, but [00:13:30] like me or your leader, right? Like,

Speaker 3: oh no, they, they have, the conservative party would have a very, very strict line on what they're gonna say.

Speaker 3: It's terrible. I guess the flip side of those [00:13:40] conversations where I think, hey, we should be able to ask those questions about, you know, first Nation stuff and, and private children healthcare, private healthcare

KYLE: won't, no Canadian, Canadian politician will [00:13:50] bring that up.

Speaker 3: No

KYLE: private healthcare, no. You get crucified, like you bring private healthcare back.

KYLE: Like you. To me, guess I'm naive.

Speaker 3: I'm naive. 'cause if I ran for political office, I would say we need two [00:14:00] tier healthcare. And course I would use the words yes, but um, the, I going back, I think the Tara and Dallas Brody and these people, the issue I do have with them, [00:14:10] well first of all, I think. You, you have to be extremely convinced of something before you're gonna start another political party.

Speaker 3: Like the last thing we need is fractures. The, you know, and [00:14:20] don't let it be an ego thing. You know, like, be, be humble. Go try to have the conversation, to have the conversation at length before you know, hey, it's like nine months after an election and we're starting a new, like this is, you know, [00:14:30] rather than shoot, blow the whole thing up.

Speaker 3: The other thing is they, surprisingly,

KYLE: very few people do still. Even like in the business world, you say, what have conversations like it's so much easier to walk and not have conversation. Yeah. Or to

Speaker 3: gossip or [00:14:40] to talk about it behind people's back, but, um, but for

KYLE: big deal stuff like too, I've seen it like just, it's, it's easy to do.

Speaker 3: Yeah. I guess I feel like the rub is, is that those people, if you follow them on Twitter and I [00:14:50] follow a few of them on Twitter, they are perpetually. They're like a one issue thing. Like all they're talking about is the First Nation staff and like, yeah, that's one piece. But that's a very, that's just a very small [00:15:00] piece of being a, an MP or MLA young people can't buy

KYLE: their house and you buy their groceries.

KYLE: Yeah. And just,

Speaker 3: you know, I think being a politician means you represent everybody in your riding. Regardless of whether [00:15:10] they agree with you, regardless of their faith, their belief system, it, it, you know, it means, it just means that you, you need to be a good listener. It needs to mean that you need to be caring of all people, even if they hate you.

Speaker 3: Mm-hmm. Which is [00:15:20] difficult to do. Like I do think being a politician is a high honor. I, I respect people that run for office. 'cause I think mostly you just get crap on. Like, yeah, I was at a, um,

KYLE: well, I. [00:15:30] Be honest.

Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not that easy. I was at a, um, milk board, uh, at a meeting yesterday. Us dairy farmers had a fall producer meeting.

Speaker 3: Yeah. And it was just pretty interesting. [00:15:40] Like even there, like the guys that are on the board, they're good guys. A bunch of them are my, uh, are good friends. I use that word really loosely as you know, best

KYLE: friends,

Speaker 3: best friend. I [00:15:50] said a couple best friends the other day. Yeah, one, one of 'em for sure is, but um.

Speaker 3: I just think, man, it's so funny. The other night I was telling some story at my house and my wife and [00:16:00] everybody was making fun of me. 'cause I used some term Marie's like, when's the last time you hung out with that person? You just said he is your best friend.

KYLE: Okay. Me

Speaker 3: and Mari said that simultaneously.

Speaker 3: Yeah. 'cause it's like something I we're both

KYLE: like

Speaker 3: best friend, huh? [00:16:10] Yeah. Um, everybody's best friend. Close to nobody, but just the amount of flack you take leading. Yeah. Truth to that. Truth, to that. Um. The amount of flack you [00:16:20] take. Even just being on a, as a milk board member and the amount of people expect these guys to like have the financial decisions for their farm or hold them personally responsible for every last thing that's a challenge in business.

Speaker 3: [00:16:30] It's like getting a real bit like there again. Yeah, it was disappointing. It's like it. Obviously those guys are not perfect. They do make mistakes, but all of them are farmers as [00:16:40] well. They all have a vested interest to make the best decision possible. And at the end of the day, like we're operating in a communist system.

Speaker 3: So like there's, it's gonna be a bit weird, right? Like you gotta be okay with it being a bit,

KYLE: I [00:16:50] like that you call the spade a spade there.

Speaker 3: Okay.

KYLE: How, okay, so what do you, what about, uh, the Supreme Court of Canada and their decision, their five four decision to, um, I'll read it here. [00:17:00] Uh, yes. The Supreme Board of Canada ruled five four today.

KYLE: Um, that one year mandatory minimum, um, sentences for possessing child pornography. Another criminal [00:17:10] code violates the charter of cruel and unusual punishment. So if you get the mandatory one year charge for having child porn, that's cruel [00:17:20] and unjust punishment is what the Supreme Court of Canada decided the majority held.

KYLE: It's grossly disproportionate and lower. Cases while the distant argued it doesn't [00:17:30] meet the high threshold and protects that and protects children. This continues the course trend of invalidating such. Mia, I dunno what that is, whatever it [00:17:40] is. But such minimums, I guess maybe what I said, but um, yeah, this is insane to me.

KYLE: Did you read why they were voted

Speaker 3: against it though? No. Did you read the [00:17:50] example? What was the example?

KYLE: The example

Speaker 3: was, and I mean I feel like our podcast is gonna get censored now if we go into this, into these weeds, but, um, the, uh, the example that [00:18:00] they gave for, for, um, shooting that down was an 18-year-old could send, um, [00:18:10] could be sexting a.

Speaker 3: 17-year-old and would be, would be breaking the law here and get a JA year of jail time. Good. And they thought, yeah, [00:18:20] okay. As you were then that was the example they used. Yeah.

KYLE: Fair enough. But I mean, they know that there's, I mean, the amount of cases of, of, of pedophiles. That are getting like, [00:18:30] you know, it's just,

Speaker 3: yeah, there was some really other disturbing, like of course, you know, you get into the comments section on these things and everybody has cases and I dunno, I, I, I remember [00:18:40] I heard a guy

KYLE: recently Paul for Ho or something like that in Alberta, just got like, he was a leader of a church and he just got caught too for

Speaker 3: possessing child pornography.

Speaker 3: No, I

KYLE: think abusing some people. Okay. Just [00:18:50] like what the frick, these guys should

Speaker 3: convicted. No,

KYLE: just arrested.

Speaker 3: Okay. Always. This is another issue I have. Right? Like innocent until proven guilty. And it is important. Fair [00:19:00] enough. People's lives get ruined, right? By people just assuming. Usually they're smoke,

Speaker 4: there's, there's,

Speaker 3: yeah, but sometimes not so like can sometimes that's fair and like obviously with abuse as a general rule it probably is, but I do feel like.[00:19:10]

Speaker 3: We have a court, we have the courts for a reason. And I feel like we, we all wanted, I'm just frustrated. We all wanna be the judge during the executioner. Yes. And boy, it would be pretty bad if somebody got to do that to us. Right. So I fair. [00:19:20] Okay.

KYLE: But what do you think someone should get in jail for jail time for sexually abusing kids?

KYLE: A

Speaker 3: long time? Some would say forever, I guess. Okay, so right now, now is [00:19:30] there any penance that, is there any penance that can be paid? Yeah, I always say that I know people. I know people.

KYLE: It's not about the penance, it's about justice. Like we need justice. Yeah. There needs to be justice [00:19:40] and we need to protect other people, protect children, and we need to have a ter protect children.

KYLE: Like there's actually, there's stats that they did. In the, um, United States on, um, how severe a punishment [00:19:50] was, the likelihood or less it severe it was the likelihood it was being committed. And as the punishments have gone down, the, the crimes have gone up. Like there was something to be said. Is that why

Speaker 3: there was [00:20:00] eunuch back in the day?

Speaker 3: No. That was separate issue, eh? Oh, they were weird. I wouldn't do that. No. I think people could be, I think people could be.

KYLE: Does it actually get rid of your desires? Oh, I heard it doesn't. [00:20:10]

KYLE: yeah, you should castrate 'em too. That'd be a good idea. Yeah.

KYLE: mean like that, that being said, I kind of feel like I'm going against my own beliefs here, but [00:20:20] like that there's grace immer to forgiveness.

KYLE: I believe that, uh, for even pedophiles, but there, that doesn't mean we can't, shouldn't advocate for justice and like. You know, [00:20:30]

Speaker 3: I think the biggest issue in my mind is really that it's not talked about enough. 'cause it's extremely uncomfortable. Um, I don't think kids are prepared. I feel like [00:20:40]

KYLE: we had it yesterday, this week.

KYLE: Hey, Nicole was on, um, Pinterest with the boys, and she went and looked at a, a, [00:20:50] a recipe. She clicked on a recipe. She had the tab open. Um, and then the next day she stole the tab open. She went back to that tab and there was a pornographic image and both [00:21:00] boys saw it. Um, and she exited it right away on, on

GARY: Pinterest.

KYLE: Uh, it was a link from Pinterest, uh, of the recipe. I guess that takes you somewhere. Makes sense. So she had a conversation with them, but she was like talking [00:21:10] about last night and we're like, Peter's four. And he saw that like, 'cause he had to have a conversation about it. Like, and it was, and I'm just like, ugh.

KYLE: But yeah, I talk, I I did say to her though, like just talking about it. 'cause I [00:21:20] referenced that, uh, at your house last week when you were like talking to the young kids about uh, uh, private parts. I even have time saying it here. Um, but [00:21:30] uh,

Speaker 3: you're supposed to use the correct

KYLE: words. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, that's right.

KYLE: And so I do that more and more with the kids and just talk about it openly. Even with Peter. Yeah. 'cause I'm like, they're gonna learn it from somebody. It's better off coming from learn it from their parents.

Speaker 3: Totally. Yeah. [00:21:40] Yeah.

KYLE: We talked to the boys about it a bunch and just said, Hey, if you come across these pictures again, just talk to us about it.

KYLE: If you, if

Speaker 3: you are a parent. And you're listening to this and you have, and you feel like you fail. Having those conversations, which I [00:21:50] do feel like I fail, I feel like you can hardly have the conversations young enough. There's, I think we've plugged it on here before. Birds and the bees. Birds and the bees.

Speaker 3: What's like an Instagram, an Instagram course or, yeah, [00:22:00] it's, it's a course too. I, we have the course. I mean, people could come and we've hosted parties before watching the course at our. Because I think it's so important, and I think that a lot of abuse happens simply 'cause parents [00:22:10] do not educate their children.

Speaker 3: Right. Obviously that's just one of the reasons. There's a thousand reasons, but I think a lot of times kids are just completely naive even into what's happening to them until it's too late. And so [00:22:20] yeah, it's that balancing act and knowing how to, how to communicate with your kids and protecting your children.

Speaker 3: And I mean, and then I guess the other side of even just hearing myself say that I'm thinking [00:22:30] some parents do an amazing job and then their children still end up being hurt. Right. And I think that.

KYLE: That's gonna happen regardless. Yeah. It's like eating really healthy and expecting [00:22:40] ever to get cancer.

KYLE: Yeah.

Speaker 3: And I, I, so you, you do wanna be careful when you live in this world of trying to do everything perfectly as a parent. Um, ultimately we're gonna fall short. Our children will be hurt. They will have bad things [00:22:50] happen to them. And so that's why I think think's talking them.

KYLE: What, how they should think about it and they can come talk to us when it happens because it's inevitable that it will happen.

KYLE: I said to Nicole, like, it's gonna ha they're gonna see another picture soon. Like [00:23:00] it's gonna happen. Like it's how, what are they gonna do? What are we teaching them to do when it does, and like, will they be open enough to talk to us about it and that kinda stuff. [00:23:10] Yeah. Anyways, um, I've got a person I'm looking to fill for a company.

KYLE: Uh, [00:23:20] anyone out there is an engineering. There's a, there's a company in southern Alberta, I should say, that, um, wants to start creating, making manufacturing an, an equipment [00:23:30] line, um, from scratch. It's not like engines or anything, but um, and, uh, it'll do pretty well, but they need someone kind of to run it and partner [00:23:40] with.

KYLE: Um, and so if you're into engineering and can build stuff and be hands-on and work hard. Uh, I think this is like ideal [00:23:50] for like a younger, like mid twenties guy that, like from

Speaker 3: here or somebody who lives in Alberta, they would have to live there. Right. They would've to live there. Yeah. Yeah. Southern Albert.

Speaker 3: But it's,

KYLE: I mean, it'll, it'll make, it's really

Speaker 3: windy, but other than that, it's not too bad.

KYLE: Yeah. [00:24:00] You'll make, you'll make good money. You'll make good money. It's beautiful blue skies. Yeah.

KYLE: also for the marketing manager still, uh, for like d dairy industry, not dairy industry, industry, egg industry, uh, big budget that you have to [00:24:40] manage making money. But that was a good job too. Yeah. Good jobs.

Speaker 3: How come everybody's working who listens to this? That's our demographic I guess. Mostly working people.

KYLE: Yeah, but there's people that are unhappy [00:24:50] and that don't like the biggest thing about Yeah. But they'll be

Speaker 3: unhappy wherever they are. Right.

KYLE: No, I think the biggest thing that, that I can connect people with is on a values alignment, because you can train a lot of different things, but if you like are connected on the [00:25:00] value side of like trust and like the same Christian values and the same values of like, and enjoy what you're doing.

KYLE: Right. Enjoy what you're doing. Yeah, of course. Yeah. Yeah, too. Then I think you. It's way more enjoyable to [00:25:10] work with people. Of course. That's just, um, obvious, especially if they're like important roles where you need to, you know?

GARY: Yeah. So, so, so [00:25:20]

KYLE: what They're just, they're taking, they're getting, they're be receiving a job.

KYLE: Yeah. So, uh, podcast topic for you, the Dave Ramsey plan. Do you agree with that? Both [00:25:30] for personal and business or just business or just personal, which is no debt.

Speaker 3: Yeah, or very little debt. He would agree that you can [00:25:40] get a mortgage for a house, but I think he said you have to pay it back in what, 15 years or something like that?

Speaker 3: don't know what he said. I definitely think that our whole society needs to get on [00:25:50] the Dave Ramsey plan and well,

KYLE: they're going to be forced to.

Speaker 3: They're gonna be forced to our federal government. Is not going on. The Dave Ramzi plan, they did a, they came out with a budget [00:26:00] today that made Justin Trudeau's budgets look like, uh, light, the light version.

Speaker 3: Really? Yeah. It was wild. I wanna say it was 60 or 70 billion in spending just this year. Deficit spending.

KYLE: And how much is our bud, [00:26:10] our, our. Debt right now. Total clean debt.

Speaker 3: You could check it out. I'm gonna guess it's about a trillion dollars. That would be my guess. It's mostly funny [00:26:20] because, or funny, it's, it's pathetic, but I remember when Stephen Harper was the prime minister, um, in the good old days.

Speaker 3: And, uh, some people hate Stephen Harper, so get to get them [00:26:30] riled up. But I remember when he was doing deficits, I want to say, of like four to 6 billion, and that was just, he was getting lambasted by the liberal party back in four to 6 million. [00:26:40] Four to 6 billion, right? 1,000,000,004, six. And now we're running 15, 20 times that.

Speaker 3: And you know, we're not in a. Technical recession right now. That's what's humorous like in three years, two years from now, we will be in [00:26:50] 26, 27, we will be in, in a real trough. That's my guess, like I would say next year will things will really hit the fan and then it's $30,000

KYLE: per Canadian.
