In this episode, I sit down with Rev. Aaron Vriesman to talk about his role in The Abide Project, which he helped start with a group of colleagues to uphold their convictions on biblical sexuality within the CRC denomination after some churches chose to follow the culture’s view on the issue.
We also talk about the culture in many church communities where people feel pressure to show up looking like they have it all together while hiding the things they’re actually struggling with.
Aaron shares some of his own story, his struggles with depression, and we talk through why these conversations matter and why they’re often more complicated than people make them out to be.
Enjoy & God Bless
