In this episode, I sit down with Andre lesur to talk about his journey from South Africa to Canada, his path into faith, and how his life shifted from chasing performance to actually knowing Jesus.
Andre shares what it was like growing up in a volatile home, moving across countries, and chasing success through academics and sports—until he encountered a kind of love through Christians that made him question everything.
We get into identity, perfectionism, and the tension between striving and surrender. We also talk about his time in ministry, working with youth, prison ministry, and people in some of the hardest environments, along with the personal cost that came with it—burnout, loss, and rebuilding after his mom passed away.
If you’ve ever wrestled with faith, purpose, or trying to prove yourself, you’ll probably relate to this.
Enjoy
